About

Counseling in a compassionate space

Starting therapy can feel like a big step — especially when life feels uncertain or like everything is changing at once. Whether you’re navigating a new phase of life, feeling stuck, or trying to reconnect with who you are, therapy can offer a supportive space to pause, reflect, and find your footing again. My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth. We’ll explore what’s working for you and what’s not, while building on your existing strengths. Together, we’ll look at patterns, beliefs, and the systems around you that may be shaping how you see yourself and the world. I bring an anti-oppressive lens to my work, recognizing that our struggles don’t exist in isolation — they’re often influenced by the social, cultural, and systemic forces around us. Therapy can be a place to explore those influences and move toward empowerment, authenticity, and self-compassion. Over the past 18 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people navigating all kinds of transitions — from anxiety and burnout to relationship changes, family dynamics, and healing from trauma. My work is grounded in person-centered, trauma-informed care that supports clarity, growth, and resilience. Together, we’ll strive to create a space that feels brave, affirming, and real — where you can show up just as you are. If you’re not sure where to begin, that’s completely okay. Reach out, and we can see what might work best for you.
